The Rumors are True

Is MutualAde vetting these funds?

Fuck no

That’s cop behavior

…Uh, hi, y’all, and if you haven’t been on Threads today, first of all, good on ya, and second of all, the libs are at it again: Crustian Daily (I’m not gonna link because frankly it’s not worth it) has been attacking posters, specifically one person who I feel lucky to consider a close acquaintance and comrade, because she DARES to post mutual aid links for families in Palestine.

The saga is long, dramatic, and simultaneously ridiculous and deeply dangerous, but if you’re a drama llama like me, or you just want to keep receipts for the future, you can find a large portion of the story over on my Threads page. The point of my bringing this up is, as many today have said, that mutual aid saves lives, and we’re not fucking cops.

So anyway first and foremost here are some mutual aid links for families in Palestine. Thank you to my good friend Lu for bringing these to my attention.

Now, for this week’s MA round-up. Please, don’t for get to share these wherever you’re active. Of course give if you can, that’s the goal. But if you’re on Threads or BlueSky or whatever we’re doing now, a couple extra eyes on this stuff never, ever hurts.

Now Hear This:

Crumpet Corner:

A low-angle close-up shot shows Crumpet, a small black cat, lying on a light-colored wooden floor under a sofa. Crumpet's body is stretched out, facing slightly towards the left of the frame. The cat's head is resting on the floor, and a compressed, half-sphere of light brown, textured catnip is positioned directly in front of Crumpet's nose, almost touching it. Crumpet's big, round eyes, which are prominent due to the low light, reflect a light source. The fur on Crumpet's head and ears is visible, with the ears slightly perked. The area under the sofa is dimly lit, revealing the underside of the wooden frame of the sofa and some of its support legs in the background.

Crump says drugs are good, actually.
