Cats are People Too

I'm sorry, I'm genuinely too tired to make a cat pun.

Hey, all, just a quick one today since I’ve already finished two essay-based finals just since I got home from work.

It’s Giving Tuesday, and a lot of non-profits are garbage and don’t deserve your money. Here’s a charity, though, that I never feel bad plugging:

Ernestos Sanctuary – The official website

Ernesto’s Sanctuary is located in Northwestern Syria, and they provide care entirely free to the animals impacted by the ongoing (and escalating) conflict. They currently house almost three thousand cats, to say nothing of the farm animals, and they operate a free veterinary clinic which employs and educates local residents. Things are now more uncertain in Syria than they have been for a while, so please, help out however you can. If nothing else, find, follow, and repost these folks on social media. Do it for the cats.

Did you know? Crumpet came from a cat rescue. Someone gave her back. Someone GAVE HER BACK. Also, she has a master’s in international relations.
